CLAT PG 2022 was conducted successfully on June 19, 2022 and the results are out. The Consortium has release the Admission Calendar and the Counselling Instructions. The last date for registration is June 27, 2022. As we know that National Law Universities (NLUs) is the premier institution for law; every law aspirant student wants to be admitted to the NLU. The first preference of every law student is to crack the CLAT examination, but the number of seats in NLUs is very limited.

After the Examination

If the students did not score good marks in the CLAT PG 2022, then the question arises what the alternative options available for the students are. There are various options available for the students. Students must not lose confidence in the field of law because, after completion of LLB, a series of options are available for the students in the field of law.

Attempt CLAT PG 2023 again

Suppose if a student has not scored good marks this year, then he/she must start preparing for CLAT PG 2023 through the best strategy. The students must have to be very honest in the preparation and must not repeat the same mistakes in the examination. If the students have a good preparation for the examination definitely, students will get good marks in the examination, and they may be able to take admission in the NLUs.

Attempt for another Examination in the law

Apart from the CLAT PG examination, various law examination has been conducted by the different colleges. Students may appear in such examinations for the course of LLM like Central University Common Entrances Test (CUCET) for the Central University (Read the preparation strategy and details of CUCET 2022 on our blog), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), etc. Students may take in such colleges, and such colleges are also best for the LLM and research programs.

Take the admission in other than NLUs College

If any students did not score good marks in the CLAT PG 2022 examination, it does not means that students have no option left for LLM. If the student is not ready for a second attempt or does not want to drop this year because of various reasons. The students have an option to take admission to a private law college. There are list of private universities using the score of CLAT PG 2022. It is advisable that before taking admission into a private college, students must ensure the research level of that college. Students may check the level of research through the Scopus database.

Take admission in the Abroad

If the student has not cleared the cut-off of the NLUs then the student may have an option to go to abroad for LLM. For the law U.S.A and U.K, Germany is the best country for research in the field of law. There are various fellowships is provided by the Indian government as well as the foreign government for the study. Like Germany provides DAAD fellowship for the research in the field of social science students may take befits of such fellowship for their studies.

Research Associate

LLM course is a research-oreinated course students have to conduct research on a particular topic. Students have an option to explore in the field of research. In India, different High Courts and Supreme Court advertise the vacancy for the post of research associate on a contractual basis. The law graduate students may apply for this post it will be beneficial for the students because students will be updated day to day legal news. It is suggested to the students that students should prepare CLAT PG examination simultaneously.
