Established in 2020 by the Government of India, The National Forensic Science University has the status of being an Institution of National Importance. It is the world’s first and the only University that is dedicated to forensic, behavioral, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and allied sciences. The Gandhinagar campus is the first campus of NFSU. Among many other courses, the University offers a specialized LL.M. program by the Center for Post Graduate Studies established under the School of Law, Forensic Justice, and Policy Studies.
COURSES OFFERED UNDER LLM
Two specializations are being offered for pursuing Masters in Law, namely,
LLM in Cyber Law and Cyber Crime Investigation (Gandhinagar Campus)– 20 Seats
The said course shall aim to equip the students in the following manner:
To study developing legal, policy, and regulatory concerns concerning cyberspace and cybercrime
To investigate privacy issues in the context of cyber technologies and cyber governance.
Identifying evolving cyber laws, cybercrime, and cyber security trends and jurisprudence affecting cyberspace today.
To enable participants to perceive, assess, and interpret case laws pertaining to the IT Act and other laws pertaining to cyberspace.
To provide in-depth knowledge of many types of Digital Forensics, such as Mobile Device Forensics, Network Forensics, Cloud-Based Forensics, and so on.
LLM in Criminal Law and Criminal Justice Administration (Delhi Campus) – 20 Seats
The said course shall aim to equip the students in the following manner:
To study developing legal, policy, and regulatory concerns concerning cyberspace and cybercrime
To investigate privacy issues in the context of cyber technologies and cyber governance.
Identifying evolving cyber laws, cybercrime, and cyber security trends and jurisprudence affecting cyberspace today.
To enable participants to perceive, assess, and interpret case laws pertaining to the IT Act and other laws pertaining to cyberspace.
Both the courses span over one year divided into two semesters.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
A candidate must have completed a three-year LL.B. degree following graduation or a five-year Integrated Law Degree Programme as recognized by the Bar Council of India with a minimum of 50 percent aggregate marks. Those who have taken the aforementioned exam and are awaiting the results may apply for this program. However, admission will be contingent on meeting the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.

ADMISSION PROCESS
The admission process for LL.M. (One Year) is based on the PG CLAT, 21 AIR Rank. If spaces remain after admitting PG CLAT takers, Non-CLAT candidates may be granted the opportunity to sit the All India entrance exam. The remaining seats will be filled based on the results of the All India Entrance Exam.

After filling in your details in the application form you will receive an email specifying your login credentials on your registered email id.
Go to ‘Edit Application Form’ and fill remaining required details.
Once you have completed entering all the required details in the application form, your Application Status would be ‘Completed Successfully’.

To submit the form, go to ‘Submit Application Form’
Once the applicant submits the form, he/she cannot edit or update any of the details entered by him/her.
On submission of the form, the applicant will receive an email
To pay the admission fee, go to ‘Generate Challan’.
Applicants can either generate ‘DD challan’ or ‘Cash challan’.
Go to ‘Payment Details’, fill in all the details required and save it.
Once the payment has been done, ‘Payment Successful’ will be the status of Payment.

Submit the duly signed printout of the filled form with necessary documents on or before the last date to the Executive Registrar, NFSU, Gandhinagar. The last date for the online application is 25th October and the last date of receiving the hard copy of the application is 30.10.2021
